As you enter the monument, you can see the Hall of Heroes. Hall of Heroes is nothing but the four walls of which are decorated with an Italian marble fresco depicting the history of the Great Trek in 1838. From Church Square in Pretoria take a short walk heading towards the residence of President Paul Kruger. The corner of the pedestals is well known for the statute of four fighters along with the Paul Kruger President of the Zuid Afrikkaanse Republiek.
